גדליה בן צבי

גדליה בן צבי הוא אמן ישראלי, ממייסדי כפר האמנים עין הוד.

בן צבי נולד בצ'כוסלובקיה בשנת 1925. למד בבית ספר לאומנות בברטיסלאבה. בשנת 1942 נלקח למחנה ריכוז בפולין, משם ברח ב-1945. ב- 1948 עלה לישראל דרך המחנות בקפריסין. העיד במשפטו של אדולף אייכמן.

בן צבי עוסק יחד עם רעיתו האמנית רחל בן צבי במגוון תחומי יצירה; ציור, פיסול, הדפסים ושטיחי קיר. הוא מרבה לעסוק בנפלאות הבריאה המשתקפות בטבע מחד ובגוף האדם מאידך. צבעי האקריל והגואש משמשים אותו בציוריו, והברונזה בפסליו. עבודותיו הוצגו באוספי אמנות פרטיים ובמוזאונים ברחבי העולם.^[1]
