נסים רֶג'ואן (בערבית: نسيم رجوان; באנגלית: Nissim Rejwan;‏ 12 בדצמבר 1924 – 24 באוקטובר 2017) היה היסטוריון, מזרחן סופר ועיתונאי ישראלי ממוצא יהודי-עיראקי, עמית מחקר במכון ע"ש הרי ס' טרומן למען קידום השלום באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים.

קורות חיים[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]

רג'ואן נולד ב-1924 בבגדאד למשפחה יהודית קשת יום. בין השנים 1942 ל-1945 עבד בבנק "Eastern Bank" שבבגדאד ואחר כך לתקופה קצרה של חודשיים ב"בנק זליכה", בנק יהודי פרטי. כבר בבגדאד החל בכתיבה, והיה עיתונאי ב"טיימס של בגדאד". בשנת 1951 עלה לישראל במבצע עזרא ונחמיה. הוא למד באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. רג'ואן החל לכתוב ביקורות ספרים ביומון "ג'רוסלם פוסט", ונהג במשך שנים לכתוב מדור קבוע בשם "הטור השולי". מאמריו בכתב העת האוונגרדי "קשת" (בעריכת אהרן אמיר) הקנו לו מעמד של הוגה דעות מרכזי.

הוא היה העורך של העיתון בערבית "אל-יום" של ההסתדרות בין השנים 1959 ל-1966. וכמו כן היה בין ראשוני הטלוויזיה הישראלית בערבית.

הוא היה תלמידו וחברו הקרוב של אלי כדורי.

בשנות ה-70 נמנה עם מייסדי האגודה לזכויות האזרח בישראל.

נפטר ב-24 באוקטובר 2017.
