תל דור

פרופסור איילת גלבוע (נולדה בחיפה ב-1958) הייתה בעבר ראש החוג לארכאולוגיה באוניברסיטת חיפה.

את תאריה (ראשון, שני ודוקטורט) בארכאולוגיה עשתה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. נושא הדוקטורט היה "החוף הפיניקי הדרומי בתקופת הברזל I-IIA". היא לימדה באוניברסיטה העברית וכיום מלמדת באוניברסיטת חיפה. במשך שנים רבות ערכה את עתיקות ואת פרסומי רשות העתיקות, וכן הייתה עורכת משנה של האנציקלופדיה החדשה לחפירות ארכאולוגיות בארץ ישראל. כיום היא מנהלת את חפירות תל דור יחד עם פרופ' אילן שרון מן האוניברסיטה העברית

מבחר מפרסומיה

גלבוע פרסמה עשרות מאמרים בכתבי עת מקצועיים. המאמרים עוסקים בנושאי מחקרה. על כתבי העת נמנים: "ארץ ישראל", ‏ "BASOR - Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research" ‏, "Journal of Archaeological Science",‏ "Radiocarbon ‏ "Israel Exploration Journal" ועוד. בנוסף פרסמה מאמרים בפרסומי כנסים, ומאמרים בספרים. וכן הייתה שותפה לכתיבת 11 דוחות חפירה על תל דור.
