פיוצ'רפופ או פיוצ'ר פופ (באנגלית: Futurepop או Future pop) הוא תת-ז'אנר מוזיקלי של מוזיקה אלקטרונית, המהווה פיוז'ן של אלקטרופופ, סינת'-פופ, מוזיקת טראנס, EBM וטכנו.[1][2][3][4] הז'אנר, שהתפתח במערב אירופה של סוף שנות ה-1990 ותחילת שנות ה-2000, מזוהה עם התת-תרבות סייברגות' (אנ').[3]
בין האמנים המזוהים עם הז'אנר ניתן למנות את VNV Nation, Covenant (אנ'), Apoptygma Berzerk, Assemblage 23, Icon of Coil (אנ'), Neuroticfish ו-Rotersand (אנ').[1][2][3][5][6][7]
אפיון
[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]הז'אנר מאופין בעיקר במבני פופ "טכנואידיים" ו-"מכווני דאנס" במנגינות קליטות, בשימוש נרחב של קצבי מוזיקת טראנס ובהעידר שינוי קולי.[1][2][3] בשונה ממוזיקת טראנס, הז'אנר "שומר על המבנה הלירי והקולי של סינת'-פופ".[3] "הצלילים השקופים" וסגנון ההפקה של הז'אנר נחשב "מתאים למצעדי מוזיקה" שמיועד למועדוני מוזיקה.[2][3][8]
טום שר מ-Assemblage 23 תיאר את הז'אנר באירוניה כ-"[ז'אנר שבו] בעיקר אנשים לא יכולים לשיר מעל קטעי טראנס משנות ה-1990".[4]
