עברית: תצלום דיוקנו של הסופר ט"ף שפירא בצעירותו: הדפס חלבון בגוני חום, בתבנית Carte de visite, בגודל 6.5X10 ס"מ. בגב התצלום, נוספה הקדשה בעברית, בכתב ידו של שפירא, אל ידידו ח"י גרינבוים: "הביטה גרינבוים אל תמונת רעך / כי לא-אחת אך-שתים תראינה עיניך / תמונת אוהבך באמת אהבה נצחת / ותמונת רך בשנים וצפוי אלי-שחת / אני הוא, אני הוא / ט"ף שפירא מעיר סייני." תחת הקדשה זו ציין שפירא את המקום והתאריך בעברית וברוסית, פלוצק, 12 ביולי 1870.
