Keil היא חברת בת גרמנית בתחום התוכנה של Arm Holdings. היא נוסדה בשנת 1982 על ידי גינטר וריינהרד קייל, בתחילה כחברה גרמנית GbR. באפריל 1985 הוסבה החברה ל־Keil Elektronik GmbH כדי לשווק מוצרים נוספים לכלי הפיתוח שסופקו על ידי רבים מספקי הסיליקון. Keil יישמה את מהדר ה-C הראשון שתוכנן מהיסוד עבור המיקרו-בקר 8051.
Keil מספקת מגוון רחב של כלי פיתוח כמו מהדר ANSI C, מאקרו-אסמבלרים, ניפוי שגיאות וסימולטורים, מקשרים, IDE, מנהלי ספריות, מערכות הפעלה בזמן אמת (כיום RTX5)[1][2][3] ולוחות הערכה עבור למעלה מ-8,500 התקנים.[4][5]
באוקטובר 2005, נרכשה חברת Keil (Keil Elektronik GmbH במינכן, גרמניה, ו־Keil Software, Inc בפלנו, טקסס) על ידי Arm.[6][7][8]
מאז המיזוג עם Arm, החברה עדיין פעילה במתן מוצרים ושירותים.[9][10][11][12]
