Elhanan Gazit, PhD is a researcher and a lecturer at the Instructional Systems Technologies Department, H.I.T - Holon Institute of Technology. (http://www.hit.ac.il)

  • Research interests

Interactive learning environments, Digital games-based learning, Complex systems, Analyzing interactions by using computerized tools.

Currently, Dr. Gazit serves as the Israeli Chapter of DiGRA.org. He is developing a framework for studying video games interactions and for assessing innovative multi-users interfaces.   • Education and Work Experience

A former post doctorate fellow researcher at LIRT Lab, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Applications of Computer Science, CRI. (http://www.cri.haifa.ac.il/index.html) Elhanan holds a PhD degree and a Master's in Science Education from Tel-Aviv University. His PhD thesis focused on studying & analyzing real-time learning interactions in virtual reality environments. During his PhD studies he has been involved in the design and development of the ILA City, An academic e-learning project, under Prof. Menucha Birenbaum, a well know scholar in the felid of alternative assessment. In addition, he served as an advisor for using computerized tools for analyzing interactions at Tel-Aviv University’s Lieselotte Adler Lab under Prof. Sidney Strauss, who currently serves as the Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Education.
