121023-N-TG831-196 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 23, 2012) Executive Chef Jeff Bennett assists Culinary Specialist 2nd Class Ferose Pagarigan prepare a meal aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85). Bennett is visiting the ship as part of the Navy's "Adopt-a-Ship" program, which allows professional chefs the ability to visit naval vessels and provide culinary training and mentorship. McCampbell is part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group based out of Yokosuka, Japan, and is conducting a patrol of the western Pacific in support of regional security and stability of the vital Asia-Pacific region.
