This is reported as bug 71550. To test the behavior, edit this page in VisualEditor

1. Good scenario, works correctly at the time of writing:
   1. Put the caret at the end of the line.
   2. Hold down Shift and press → repeatedly to select all the content of the line.
2. Bad scenario, fails at the time of writing:
   1. Put the caret immediately after (to the left) of the comment icon.
   2. Hold down Shift and press → to select all the content of the line. At the time of writing this fails: Pressing → repeatedly selects and deselects the comment icon.
