The Maserati 150S was Maserati's first postwar 4-cylinder sports car. it made its debut at the 1955 Nurburgring 500 km race and won with Jean Behra driving. This car (chassis 1673) is the second-to-last built of only 27 examples. One GT Coupe was built, but otherwise they were all almost identical Spyders. Most were sold to amateur drivers in Europe and the United States as they were relatively cheap and easy to maintain. This car was delivered to F.W. Proctor of Florida in 1956 and over the years has had a reasonably quiet life, although it is still used occasionally in historic races.
