תקציר
| תיאור | Chrysler by Chrysler sedan. Taken at the Chrysler Car Museum in Grenfell, New South Wales. Yes that is what it was really called. The car so good they named it twice. The Chrysler by Chrysler was the flagship model in Chrysler Australia's range. Based on the Valiant station wagon's longer wheelbase, and with unique twin headlights and wrap around grille to distinguish it from the regular Valiant range, it also had unique tail lights with a fill in panel that continued the full with of the rear. It was marketed against Ford's Falcon based Fairlane and LTD, and Holden's Statesman and Caprice. The CxC was available with the 265 cubic inch Hemi 6 cylinder, or the 360 cubic inch V8, the largest V8 offered in an Australian car until the release of Holden's Chevrolet sourced 6 litre in the VZ series 2 in 2005. It was also available as a two door hardtop. The amber coloured turn indicators make this a 1973 on model, as the Australian Design Rules changed to make amber for turn signals compulsory from 1st January 1973. The colour is called Limelight, and is an unusual colour for a luxury model. |
