Stema oraşului Seini, potrivit anexei nr. 1.1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular roşu cu marginile rotunjite.

În interiorul scutului se află broşat un ansamblu de aur format din doi ciorchini de strugure şi două frunze, aşezaţi în spirală.

În vârful scutului se află un zid de argint, format din patru rânduri dreptunghiulare întreţesute (cu tot cu aliniat) şi trei creneluri.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Ansamblul de struguri face parte din sigiliul localităţii, datat din secolul al XVIII-lea, dar şi la una din cele mai importante îndeletniciri ale locuitorilor, viticultura.

Zidul de argint crenelat reprezintă cetatea Zeynir, una din cele mai importante cetăţi din Nord-Vestul Transilvaniei din perioada Evului Mediu, fiind un important târg din zonă.

Coroana murală cu trei turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de oraş.

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
