Op vrijdag 9 november vond in Utrecht de 6e jaarlijkse Wikimedia Conferentie Nederland plaats met keynote sprekers Jimmy Wales en Lydia Pintscher. De WCN stond in het teken van Wikipedia in het onderwijs: waar liggen voor Wikipedia de kansen voor ontwikkeling op het gebied van onderwijs? Daarnaast zoals gebruikelijk bij de WCN aandacht voor ontwikkelingen op gebied van technologie en de wiki-wereld.
