Biography of the director : Katya Aragão was born in São Tomé and Príncipe on January 17, 1986. She is a journalist by profession, curious by nature and producer by passion. She likes to learn about everything that surrounds her, is a reader-in-series, believes in the power of dreams and great ideas. She recently debuted as a director with the short film Mina Kiá. She is editor-in-chief of STPDigital.net, organizer of TEDxSãoTomé, an activist at the NGO Galo Cantá, of which she was founder and president. Graduated in Communication and Culture Sciences - Communication and Journalism from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies (Lisbon, Portugal). It is characterized by great adaptability and proactivity in the environment in which it is inserted, believes in the empowerment of young people and women and loves to work as a team.
