Ruth in her twenties (Family album collection)

A Swiss-Israeli painter. Ruth was born in Basel, Swiss. Studied in Zurich Academy of art and in Munich Academy of art (1926-1930). She worked as a designer until her studio was closed by authorities. Immigrated to Palestine in 1934, where she met her futue husban Uri (Frantz Bamberger). Married and had one child, Tamar Carmi (an Isreal architect). Bamberger studied with Ardon, Shteinhartd and AShheim. In the sixties was teaching in Bezalel Academy of Art and in her house Studio.
