Hello, sorry I don't speak Hebrew. It is to inform you that the word "Caş" is one of the Romanian generic terms for en:cheese. Caş is a Romanian word which has two different generic meanings: I. it may refer to the product obtained after the first two stages of production of any type of cheese (the first two stages are 1. Curdling by adding en:rennet and 2. draining) and II. it may have a generic meaning for any type of cheese. The process of production described in the article en:Caş is obviously artisanal. Both of the meanings the word caş has in Romanian can be inferred from the article: a) "The caş is subsequently used to make other types of cheese" and b) "The word caş is derived from the Latin caseus and it is a cognate of the English cheese." For a more thorough discussion of this matter see fr:Discussion:Caş/Suppression. See also en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Caş. As caş is not the name of a specific Romanian type of cheese (as is for instance the case with the Italian en:Mozzarella or with the French en:Camembert, the article "Caş" should be deleted from Wikipedia because Wikipedia is not a dictionary..Burghiu - שיחה 19:59, 19 במרץ 2011 (IST)[תגובה]
