פרס וולפסון להיסטוריה הוא פרס ספרותי המוענק מדי שנה בממלכה המאוחדת על מנת לקדם ולעודד מצוינות בכתיבת היסטוריה עבור הציבור הרחב. מדי שנה מוענק הפרס עבור שתיים או שלוש יצירות יוצאות דופן שראו אור במהלך השנה; לעיתים מוענק גם פרס מפעל חיים (פרס כללי על תרומתו הנכבדה של אדם לכתיבת היסטוריה). הם מוענקים ומנוהלים על ידי קרן וולפסון, והספרים הזוכים נבחרים על ידי חבר שופטים המורכב מהיסטוריונים בולטים.
לפי תקנון הפרס, כדי שספר יוכל להיות מועמד לפרס, עליו לראות אור בממלכה המאוחדת ועל המחבר להיות נתין בריטי בזמן מתן הפרס, ותושב קבע בממלכה המאוחדת. על הספר להיות שוטף ומלומד, ונגיש להדיוטות.
הפרס נוסד בשנת 1972 על ידי קרן וולפסון, קרן פילנתרופית בממלכה המאוחדת, ותחילה נקרא כפרס הספרות של וולפסון.[1] [2]
