לקנמב, נמכרת תחת השם Leqembi, היא תרופה המבוססת על נוגדנים חד שבטיים נגד עמילואיד בטא[1] לטיפול במחלת אלצהיימר הניתנת באמצעות עירוי תוך ורידי.
לקנמב אושרה לשימוש רפואי בארצות הברית בינואר 2023.[2][3][4]

תופעות לוואי[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]
לקנמב עלול לגרום להפרעות הדמיה הקשורות לעמילואיד (AIRA).[1]
מנגנון פעולה[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]
לקנמב הוא נוגדן חד שבטי המורכב מגרסה מואנשת[5] של נוגדן עכבר, mAb158, המזהה פרוטופיברילים ומונע שקיעת עמילואיד בטא במודלים של בעלי חיים של מחלת אלצהיימר.[6]

בינואר 2023, ה-FDA העניק אישור מואץ לתרופה.[1][7] ה-FDA אישר את הבקשה למסלול מהיר של lecanemab לחברת Eisai R&D Management Co., Ltd.[1]
