מיכאל לורנס (פולנית: Michał Lorenc; נולד ב-5 באוקטובר 1955) הוא מלחין קולנוע פולני וחתן ״מסדר העיט הלבן״ (Order of the White Eagle). נודע בעיקר בעבודתו על הסרטים Little Rose (2010), Bastard (1997), Blood and Wine (1996) ו-300 Miles to Heaven (1989), נחשב כיום לאחד המלחינים החשובים והנודעים ביותר בתעשיית הקולנוע הפולנית והאירופאית.

נולד בוורשה, פולין. בשנת 1973, הצטרף ללהקת הפולק רוק Wolna grupa Bukowina שהוקמה על ידי Wojciech Belon ונשאר חבר בלהקה במשך 4 שנים. בשנות ה-70, שיתף פעולה עם מרסין וולסקי בעבודה על Polish Radio Programme 3 והופיע לעיתים בתוכנית הרדיו ״Zgryz״ של Maciej Zembaty. בין השנים 1979–1981, היה חבר ב-Teatr panoramiczny together יחד עם Jacek Kleyff ו Michał Tarkowski.

מאז 1979, לורנס כתב והלחין מנגינות למעל מכ-150 סרטי קולנוע, דוקומנטריים, סדרות טלוויזיה ומחזות תיאטרון. הוא זכה ב-5 פסלי ״אריה הזהב״ Golden Lion בפסטיבל הסרטים בגדיניה ובפסטיבל הסרטים הפולני בפרס הסרט הטוב ביותר. בין הסרטים וסדרות הטלוויזיה שבהם לקח חלקת כלולים גם: Sekal Has to Die, Little Rose, 300 Miles to Heaven, A Prominent Patient, Ojciec Mateusz, Bastard, Fotoamator, Four Nights with Anna, Kołysanka, Exit in Red, Kanalia, Sauna, Kroll, Deborah, Przedwiośnie, Żurek, Glina, Złoto dezerterów, Amok and Nic.

בשנת 1996, כתב לורנס את הפסקול לסרטו של בוב רפלסון, ״דם ויין״ (Blood and Wine) בכיכובם של ג׳ק ניקולסון, ג׳ניפר לופז ומיכאל קליין. הסרט נבחר למועמד פרס אוסקר ע״י ״אולפני המאה ה-20 של פוקס״
