I am a descendant. According to this book (https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-540-69252-2), he was the first Jewish Math professor in Bonn. He was definitley of Jewish descent (father and mother). However, whether he himself was a practising Jew, we do not know (he probably converted). His children were baptised or married Christians, so that his grandchildren, as so-called "Mischlinge", were discriminated, but did not become victim to the Sho 2A02:908:C33:940:E98D:8319:EFB6:826A 14:13, 12 ביוני 2023 (IDT).
