Iraqi pronunciation

Hi Lord Anubis,

I just saw your remark on the Hebrew article about the Anglo-Iraqi War.

2 questions come to mind:

1. If you are a native speaker of English and can also read Hebrew, does that mean you live somewhere outside Iraq?
2. If I'm not mistaking, I heared my uncle and aunt (who grew up in Baghdad and actually remember that war and also the Farhud which came with it) pronounce the name Kaylani with a Kaf.

Since some of the Israeli Arabs (like the Bedouins) pronounce the hard Kaf as G (Egyptian style), could your pronunciation be also a specific Iraqi-regional accent?
