A Place on Earth: The Greatest Hits (בעברית: מקום עלי אדמות: הלהיטים הגדולים ביותר) הוא אלבום הלהיטים השני של הזמרת-יוצרת האמריקאית בלינדה קרלייל.[1] אלבום הלהיטים יצא לאור ב-30 בנובמבר 1999, בהוצאת חברת התקליטים וירג'ין רקורדס.[2]
האלבום הגיע למקום החמישה-עשר במצעד האלבומים הבריטי.[3]
רקע וביקורות
[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]ב-AllMusic זכה אלבום הלהיטים לביקורת חיובית, תוך שהעניקו לו ציון של ארבעה כוכבי זהב מתוך חמישה בסך הכול.[4] מתוך אלבום הלהיטים יצא הסינגל הראשון "All God's Children", שזכה להצלחה מתונה במצעד הסינגלים הבריטי.[5] בהמשך, יצא הסינגל השיווקי "A Prayer for Everyone".[6]
איגוד תעשיית ההקלטות הבריטי (BPI) העניק לאלבום הלהיטים את תואר הזהב הכפולה על מכירות של למעלה מ-100,000 עותקים במדינה.[7]
