National Comics Publications, Inc.[1] (המכונה גם NCP או פשוט National) הייתה חברת קומיקס אמריקאית וקודמתה הישירה של DC קומיקס המודרנית.

התאגיד היה במקור שתי חברות: National Allied Publications, Inc. (הידוע גם בשם National Allied Newspaper Syndicate, Inc.)[2] שהוקם על ידי מייג'ור מלקולם וילר-ניקולסון בסתיו 1934[3][4] כדי לפרסם את New Fun, ספר הקומיקס האמריקני הראשון עם חומר מקורי וחברת Detective Comics, Inc., שהוקמה בשנת 1937, כשווילר-ניקולסון וג'ק ס. ליבוביץ רשומים כבעלים. וילר-ניקולסון נשאר במשך שנה לפני שנאלץ לסגת בשנת 1938, ו-Detective Comics רכשה את מה שנותר מ-National Allied Publications.[5][6]
National Allied ו-Detective Comics, Inc. התמזגו ליצירת National Comics Publications, Inc. ב-30 בספטמבר 1946[7] החברה קלטה גם את "All-American Publications" של מקס גיינס וליבוביץ.[6][8] שם החברה שונה ל-National Periodical Publications, Inc. בשנת 1961.[9][10]
למרות השמות הרשמיים National Comics" ו-"National Periodical Publications", החברה החלה למתג את עצמה כ-Superman-DC כבר בשנות החמישים[11] והיא נודעה בשם DC קומיקס באופן לא רשמי, ובאופן רשמי משנת 1977 ועד היום.[12]

DETECTIVE COMICS, INC. was a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of New York, and was one of the constituent corporations consolidated on September 30, 1946 into defendant NATIONAL COMICS PUBLICATIONS, INC.
