האניוול שייכת למדד היוקרתי Fortune 100. ב-2016, דורגה האניוול במקום ה-75 ב-Fortune 500.[4] כוח העבודה הגלובלי שלה עומד על  כ-130,000 עובדים, מתוכם כ-58,000 מועסקים בארצות הברית.[5] משרדיה הראשיים במוריס פליינס, שבניו ג'רזי. המנכ"ל הנוכחי הוא דריוס אדמצ'יק.[6][7] החברה אף הייתה חלק ממדד הדאו ג'ונס מה-7 בדצמבר 1925 עד ה-9 בפברואר 2008.

שם החברה "האניוול אינטרנשיונל"  הוא תוצר של מיזוג שבו AlliedSignal הענקית רכשה את האניוול הקטנה ממנה משמעותית, בשנת 1999. עם המיזוג שינתה AlliedSignal את שמה להאניוול והאניוול העתיקה את משרדי המטה למוריסטאון, ניו ג'רזי. ב-2015, המטה עבר למוריס פליינס.[8]

ביולי 2017 פורסם כי התעשייה האווירית לישראל חתמה על הסכם עם האניוול על פיתוח משותף של מכשיר המשלב את הADA של מפעל מלמ עם מערכת ניווט GPS של האניוול[9].
