קו דיסטריקט (באנגלית District line) הוא קו ברכבת תחתית של לונדון שפועל מאפמינסטר במזרח לונדון לבין שכונת צ'יזיק במערב לונדון, שם הוא מתפצל למספר שלוחות. שלוחה אחת מגיעה לווימבלדון שבדרום מערב לונדון, אחת מגיעה צפונה אל רחוב אדג'וור שבסיטי של וסטמינסטר, ועוד שלוחה קצרה שפועלת רק בסופי שבוע מגיעה לתחנה אחת בקנסינגטון (אולימפיה). המסלול הראשי ממשיך מערבה מארל'ס קורט אל טורנהם גרין לאחר מכן הוא מתחלק שוב לשתי שלוחות, אל ריצ 'מונד ואל אילינג ברודווי.
צבע הקו על המפה הוא ירוק, הקו עוצר ב 60 תחנות ואורכו 64 ק"מ, בניגוד לקווים העמוקים של לונדון, מנהרות הרכבת נמצאות ממש מתחת לפני השטח, והרכבות הן בגודל דומה לאלה שבקווים העיקריים בבריטניה. עם יותר מ -208 מיליון נסיעות שנרשמו בשנת 2017/18, הקו הוא העמוס ביותר מבין הקווים התת קרקעיים והקו החמישי העמוס ביותר מבין כל קווי המערכת,[1]
היסטוריה
בדצמבר 1868 הוקם הקו לראשונה בין דרום קנסינגטון לווסטמינסר על ידי חברת "רכבת המטרופולין", הרכבות הראשונות היו מקרונות עץ שנגררו על ידי קטרי קיטור. בשנת 1871 הורחב מסלול הקו עד לווסט ברומפטון, ושלוחה חדשה נבנתה אל אילינג ברודווי. כחלק מהפרוייקט שהשלים את קו סיקרל באוקטובר 1884 הורחב גם קו דיסטריקט עד לוייטצ'אפל ולאחר מכן גם עד לאופמינסטר, בתחילת המאה העשרים תחנות הרכבת היו עמוסות עשן מקטרי הקיטור וחברת הרכבת הזמינה קטרים חשמליים מחברת צ'ארלס יירקס האמריקאית שהחלו לפעול בקו דיסטריקט ב 1905.
