מילון היסטורי של שווייץ (בגרמנית: Historisches Lexikon der Schweiz; בצרפתית: Dictionnaire historique de la Suisse; באיטלקית: Dizionario storico della Svizzera) הוא אנציקלופדיה מקיפה על ההיסטוריה של שווייץ, כפי שהיא משתקפת במחקר ההיסטורי המודרני, במטרה להנגיש את מסקנותיו לקהל רחב ככל האפשר.

פרויקט עריכת המילון החל בשנת 1988 ועם השלמתו בסוף 2014, הוא כולל 13 כרכים, המכילים כ-36,000 ערכים.

המילון

האנציקלופדיה-מילון מתפרסמת על ידי קרן של האקדמיה השווייצרית למדעי הרוח והחברה (ה-SAGW/ASSH) והחברה ההיסטורית השווייצרית (SGG-SHH), וממומנת בעיקר ממענקי מחקר ממשלתיים. צוות העורכים של האנציקלופדיה כולל 35 איש המרכזים את העריכה וההוצאה לאור, ולצידם פועלים כ-100 יועצים אקדמיים, 2500 היסטוריונים ו-100 מתרגמים.

האנציקלופדיה נערכת בשלושת השפות הלאומיות השווייצריות במקביל, בגרמנית ("Historisches Lexikon der Schweiz", ובקיצור: HLS), צרפתית ("Dictionnaire Historique de la Suisse", ובקיצור: DHS) ואיטלקית (Dizionario storico della Svizzera).

המילון מכיל כ-40,000 ערכים, הכוללים: ביוגרפיות, ערכים על משפחות שווייצריות, על מקומות (ערים, קנטונים, מדינות לאום אחרות, מבצרים, ועוד) ומאמרים אנציקלופדיים אוניברסליים (תופעות ומושגים היסטוריים, מוסדות, אירועים וכדומה).

מהדורה מקוונת

החל מ־1998, זמינה ברשת האינטרנט מהדורה מקוונת של המילון, בכך מנגישה ההוצאה את כל התוכן הטקסטואלי שבמהדורה המודפסת בחינם לקהל הגולשים. ניתנת גישה לכל המאמרים, אולם תמונות ואיורים אינם מוצגים.
